Well I knew things were bleak in the property market - but panic seems to have set in with a vengeance.  Today I got an email from Bushells estate agency - motto "Bushells – moving made easy".

Bushells is certainly living up to its motto.  Take at look at the extraordinary offer they are making on this flat: 

STAMP DUTY PAID until 31st August 2008. A beautifully presented end of terrace ground floor Edwardian maisonette. Comprising of two bedrooms, reception room, lovely fitted kitchen/breakfast room, bathroom/WC, feature 'sunken' garden approx 28'.

Just look at that - STAMP DUTY PAID on a £385,000 flat!  Now that's a good offer.  Looks like someone is desperate to sell.  If I were looking for such a property, that would certainly get me interested in going round to take a look. 

It really is grim out there!  I will keep my eyes peeled to see what other agents can come up with on the offers front!
